HIGH HONORS: Souhegan’s Perrin Division II Player of Year

New Hampshire high school tennis coaches, for the second straight year, have put together a boys and girls All-State team in each division that include several locals.The teams were released in the last week.
The headliner is that Souhegan junior Callie Perrin, who helped guide the Sabers to the Division II state title, was named the Division II Player of the Year while Sabers coach Bo Dean was the Division II Coach of the Year.
Saber Tess Jancar was a First Teamer along with Hollis Brookline’s Anuhya Chilakapati and Anna Heiplik, plus Merrimack’s Katie Costa.
In Division I, Nashua North’s Mary Pappas was a First Teamer while Bishop Guertin’s Georgie Howell was on Second Team.
For the boys, the only First Team players were in Division II, Hollis Brookline’s Arjun Inakollu and Milford’s Will Emerson were First Teamers. HB’s John Torpey was on Second Team.
In Division I, Bishop Guertin’s Jack Kostansek and Evan Deyak were Second Teamers.
Here are the complete Division I and II All-State Teams. There were teams for Division III, but no local schools competed in that division.

Second Team: Amelia Dumont, Winnacunnet; Abigail Robinson, Timberlane; Aia Tracz, Portsmouth; Rose Goldsmith, Oyster River; Cali Herrick, Coe-Brown; Lindsay St. Pierre, Manchester West.
Player of the Year: Callie Perrin.
