HS Roundup: Titan boys capture Campbell Cougar Classic

The Nashua High School North boys had a good day in the damp weather on Saturday, capturing the Campell Cougar Classic in Litchfield.
The Bishop Guertin boys were third while in the girls race the BG girls took second to highlight the locals.
North totaled 92 points, ahead of second place Monadnock (66). BG had 39 for third.
Luke Peters captured the 200 meter run in 24.16 and was third in the 100.
North’s Yaxiel Vazquez was second in the 400 and Cole Burns the same in the 800. Owen Gagnon was third in the 1600.
North’s Mason Dandeneau was second in the 110 hurdles with Jacob Griffin third. Dandeneau was third in the 300 hurdles while teammate Gavin Suchecki was second.
North’s foursome of Suchecki, Vazquez, Ryan Mamos and Josh Sullivan took the 4×400 relay in 3:35.92.
BG’s Jacob Parshay was second in the 100 whle Liam Ireland took third in the 400. The Cards’ Fischer brothers were two-three (Carson, Ethan) in the 3200.
The Cards were third in the 4×800 relay.
In the girls race,
BG’s Anna Fondakowski captured the 3200 in 11:30.80, while Lyla Masson was second and Shannon Forsyth third.
Guertin’s Bridget Powers won the 100 hurdles in 18.46 seconds. Gabby Gillette was second the 100 meters and Bridget Powers third in the 300 hurdles.
Also, the Cards foursome of Gillette, Maddie Hope, Maddy McCarthy and Natalie Haight were first in the 4×100 in 52.96 seconds.
Gillette, Hope, Anna Sinclair, and Lyla Masson were second in the 4×400 relay.
Campbell’s Jennifer Ouellette was second in the 100 hurdles while Rylie Lemire was third in the 800.
The Cougars foursome of Limire, Brianna Flanagan, Calleigh Duncan and Katherine Silver were the only team running the 4×800 and finished in 11:13.00.

GIRLS LACROSSE
WESTWOOD (Mass.) 15, BISHOP GUERTIN 7
The Cards suffered their first loss of the season to fall to 3-1, playing a tough Massachusetts contender.
Guertin is at Concord on Monday.
