IT’S THEIR PARTY: Titan girls dominate North Invitational

NASHUA – Saturday was Nashua North’s party and the Titans girls track team let you know it.
Team scores weren’t kept, but the North girls won a whopping seven events in the annual Nashua North Invitational.
In the girls meet, North’s mainstays had good performances. Jhanelle Thomas took the 300 hurdles in 45.66 while Laura White won the mile run in 5:15.42 while Rosalie Neveu captured the 800 in 2:20.91.
Thomas anchored the 4×100 relay that won in 49.89, as she was joined by Sara Frye, Tiana Brown and Allison Frye.
Titan Sarah Frye was the winner in the triple jump at 33-9.5. Also, Thomas, Allison Frye, Neveu and Charlotte Wilson teamed up for a win in the 4×400 relay in 4:05.82.
North’s Tiana Brown won the 200 meter dash in 26.08 and was second in the100 hurdles while fellow Titan Allie Dandeneau was third in the long jump at 14-7.75. Allison Frye was third in the 300 hurdles.
Nashua South’s Penelope Rodriguez and Diamond Perry were tied for third in the high jump, and Panther Nora Gautieri was third in the javelin and shot put. Panther Chloe Cruz was third in the discus. South’s Natalee Thomas was third in the 100, and the 4×100 relay team was third as well.
Merrimack’s Cassandra Jimeno won the high jump at 5-0. The 4×800 relay team of Elia Taylor, Meghan McWhirter,Desiree Kandel and Melanie Bedard were third in the 4×800.
Alvirne’s Jennifer Herert, Olivia Cartagena, Sophia Berube and Ava Martin took the 4×800 relay in 10:12.60 while Olivia Cartagena was third in the 2 mile in 12:25.81. Milford’s Jaylyn Paul was second in the same race.
Hollis Brookline’s Grace Dow won the 100 hurdles in 15.87 and took second in the 300 hurdles n 48.83. Souhegan’s Samantha Swanbon was third in the mile.
BOYS MEET
North’s Noah Pasterczyk was first in the shot put at 48-8.5.Nashua North’s Darius Smith took second in the javelin and discus.
Nashua South’s Preston Bois was second in the pole vault and triple jump, and Gavin Suchecki was in a three-way tie for first at 6-0 in the high jump that Milford’s Ethan Morin won in a jump off. Titan Luke Peters was second in the long jump. Sawyer Penny was third in the javelin and the Panthers were third in the 4×100 relay and the foursome of Cam Brien, Matthew Motherway, Sergio Lopez and Revin Olsen took second in the 4×400 relay.

Souhegan’s Owen Pisinski won the pole vault at 12-0 while Brody Smith was third in the 400. The 4×400 relay team of Smith, Ben Gaudet, John Katsel, Dallen Noorda and Lucas Steckbeck was third.
The Milford Spartans captured the 4×400 relay with the foursome of Avery Wilson, Logan Korthal, Will Whitley and Kenyon Sora coming in at 3:31.10. Sora took third in the long jump, while the foursome of Logan , Chase Paiva, Grant Skorupan and Whitley were second in the 4×800.
Spartan Wilson was second in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Skorupan took third in the 800 and Josh Pettingell third in the 200.
Alvirne’s Shawn Boudreau won the discus at 155-5.5, and took second in the shot put. Bronco Joey Marcotte captured the 300 hurdles in 39.75, and Shane Plumley was second in the 400.
Hollis Brookline’s Sam Bruneau captured the 100 meter dash in 11.06. and took the 200 in 22.08.Brady McCammack was second in the 300 hurdles and third in the 110 hurdles.
