NASHUA – Former Boston Bruin great Patrice Bergeron will be in an on-ice skills challenge competition with five New Hampshire high school hockey players at Conway Arena next Thursday, April 3.

The event, however, will not be open to the public. It is part of the celebration of the New Hampshire Lottery’s commitment to public education in the state.

The players are Manchester Memorial’s Frank Tessier and Cam Roberge (goalie), Ethan Peluso of Windham High School, Dillon Boucher of Berlin, and goalie Lucas Arien of John Stark.

The players all have a chance to win up to $1,000 to be donated to their schools.

However, for those who want to see Bergeron, there’s good news: Following the event, the NH Lottery will be holding a celebration of five years of sports betting in the state at the new Nash Casino at the Pheasant Lane Mall.

There Bergeron will take part in a question-and-answer session with former Nashua and Boston sports radio personality Mike Mutnansky.
