It wasn’t the best of nights for local high school girls basketball teams on Thursday as the area went 0 for 2.

Here’s the rundown:

GIRLS BASKETBALL

WINDHAM 68, NASHUA NORTH 31

The Titans’ tough times continue as they were never in this one, down 22-7 after one quarter and it never changed. North (7-10) has now dropped six straight.

The Titans were led by Lilly Small’s 12 points and eight by Madelyn Tino.

North will end the regular season next Tuesday at Merrimack. The Titans are in the tourney mix, but may need to win that game just to be sure. Windham is now 15-2.

MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 42, MERRIMACK 37

Abby Herod and Meghan McCarthy had 12 points each but it was not enough as the Tomahawks had some cold stretches to fall to 2-15.

The ‘Hawks will close out the season hosting Nashua North next Tuesday afternoon at 3.

BOYS BASKETBALL

CAMPBELL VS. SAINT THOMAS IN DIVSION III QUARTERS TONIGHT

The No. 4 Cougars (16-2) will host No. 5 and defending champion Saint Thomas (14-3) at 6 p.m. today.

The two teams split during the regular season. The Saints lost in Litchfield 64-52 then topped the Cougars in a rematch two weeks later in Dover, 63-55.

The winner will advance to the Division III semis next Wednesday night at Bow High School.
