HS Roundup: Titan boys first, girls second in meet at UNH

The weekend brought another good meet for the Nashua High School North boys and girls track team.
The Titan boys won an eight-team meet, as their 100 points out-distanced Pinkerton (94) and Winnacunnet (74.5) at UNH.
The North girls, meanwhile, finished second with 88 points, ahead of Exeter’s 53 but behind Pinkerton’s whopping 123. Bishop Guertin was fourth with 32.
In the boys meet, Gavin Suchecki took the 600 in 1:31.85 and won the high jump at 6-0.00. Darius Smith captured the shot put at 50-05.00. The Titans foursome of Bunhour Chea, Ryan Mamos, Mason Dandeneau and Sam Nardone took the 4×400 relay in 3:59.24.
Aaron McNair second in the 600, as was Jack Nelson in the high jump and Noah Pasterczyk in the shot. Dandeneau was third in the hurdles as was Yaxiel Vazquez in the 300. North’s 4×160 relay team was third.
In the girls meet, Jhanelle Thomas had another good day, taking the 55 dash (7.64) and the 300 (43.88). Tiana Brown won the 55 hurdles in 9.11 while Rosalie Neveu took the 600 (1:43.82). La
