The warmup act for this weekend’s local high school postseason is tonight.

The Division I eight non-playoff teams were also seeded and as a result Nashua North will be headed to face Spaulding in a season finale between two 2-7 teams in Rochester.

LAST WEEK: Canisius 48, Nashua North 7; Portsmouth-Oyster River 34, Spaulding 6.

LAST YEAR: Did not play.

FYI: The Titans have become road warriors, traveling to the Buffalo, N.Y.area last weekend, but today’s trip probably seems like just around the corner. It’s the final game for some heralded seniors, such as tailback Luke Peters and back/DE Darius Smith. Spaulding managed just six points last weekend with Seth Cortina their lead back.
