HS Roundup: Cavs get two wins; North, Merrimack volleyball win

The local high school field hockey regular season wrapped up on Friday, and there were some girls soccer and volleyball action as well with big wins for the locals. Here’s the rundown:
GIRLS SOCCER
HOLLIS BROOKLINE 7, PELHAM 0
The Cavs keep rolling by their opponents and improving to 14-0. McKenna Maguire (three goals, assist), Lily Bouchard (two goals, assist), Kai Swart (goal), Rosalie DeSantis (goal), Donagha Lussier (two assists), Molly Reardon (assist) and Ysa Ramas (assist). Mya Blackman and Bailey Dunn combined for the shutout in goal. HB hosts Laconia on Tuesday.
MILFORD 1, PEMBROKE 1
Claire Cote got the Spartans’ goal, assisted by Lexi Bausha as the Spartans endured their third straight tie and sixth of the season (4-4-6). Molly Miles had five saves in goal for Milford, which hosts Souhegan this Wednesday.
FIELD HOCKEY
EXETER 6, NASHUA SOUTH 1
The Panthers end their season at 3-13. Saige Devins scored on a pass from Maren Lowell. Isabelle Shiju had 12 saves on the day.
South celebrated their Seniors; Amanda Bell, Zoe Perkins, Devins, Ava Dergarabedian, Emily Richard, Lowell and Karina O’Donnell.
LONDONDERRY 5, NASHUA NORTH 0
The Titans (0-16) tough season comes to an end with a loss to the Lancers.
HOLLIS BROOKLINE 4, SOUHEGAN 1
The Cavs (15-1) close out the regular season with a nine-game win streak after defeating the Sabers (10-5). Nyah Jernberg and Caroline Crawford scored two goals apiece. Emily Tebbetts recorded an assist and Madie Barich made six saves.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
NASHUA NORTH 3, DOVER 0
The Panthers win their third straight game and improve their record to 9-6. Logan Sartor and Aleena Reth had standout performances for the locals. North visits Spaulding on Monday.
MERRIMACK 3, TIMBERLANE 0
The Tomahawks (12-3) swept the Owls 25-9, 25-21, 26-16. Amelia Walker had 17 kills, Rachel Flett recorded 12 kills and Noor Eldeib collected 35 assists. Merrimack visits Pinkerton on Monday.
