Several locals make Division I Boys All-State Basketball team

As expected, the Nashua area was well represented on the New Hampshire Basketball Coaches Organization (NHBCO) Division I Boys Basketball All-State Team.

Two Nashuans made the First Team – Nashua South’s Josh Caruso and Nashua North’s Parth Miglani. South’s Zac Castonguay was on the Second Team along with Alvirne’s Sammy DeWitt.

Nashua North’s Jaden Pena and Robinson Rodgriguez were Honorable Mentions, along with Alvirne’s Garrett Hall. Pena and Rodriguez were also on the All-Defensive Team, along with Merrimack’s Logan Day.

Also, North alum as well as former Daniel Webster College standout Ray Farmer was named Coach of the Year. Farmer was in his first season as the Trinity High School Head coach.

To no one’s surprise, Pinkerton’s Jackson Marshall was named Player of the Year for Division I.

Here is the complete team:

FIRST TEAM – Jackson Marshall, Pinkerton; Luke Soden, Bedford; Josh Caruso, Nashua South; Brady O’Connell, Bedford; Parth Miglani, Nashua North; Brady Rogers, Exeter.

SECOND TEAM – Zac Castonguay, Nashua South; Devohn Ellis, Trinity, Dylan Jabre, Dover; Sammy DeWitt, Alvirne; Jack Koutrobis, Windham; Jack Begley, Windham.

HONORABLE MENTION – Jordan Pena, Nashua North; Robinson Rodriguez, Nashua North’ Garrett Hall, Alvirne; Nate McNeff, Exeter; Bory Bory, Manchester Memorial; Javon Massiah, Keene; Ty Miles, Londonderry; Tyson Khalil, Winnacunnet; Ryan Morse, Salem; Charlie Ludden, Pinkerton; Ryan Swartz, Portsmouth; Austin Kasyjanski , Bedford; Marcel Rose, Spaulding; Mason Paquette, Londonderry; Cam Hujsak, Goffstown.

ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM: Devohn Ellis, Trinity; Logan Day, Merrimack; Jaden Pena, Nashua North; Robinson Rodriguez, Nashua North; Parker Bienvenue-Cernuda, Pinkerton.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jackson Marshall.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Ray Farmer, Trinity.

JACK FORD MEMORIAL SCHOLAR ATHLETE: Luke Soden, Bedford.

SUB-VARSITY COACH OF THE YEAR: Mike Gravalese, Salem.
