Shawn Boudreau had a pretty good fall as a quarterback on the Alvirne High School football team.

Now he can add State Champion Wrestler to his resume. Boudreau captured the state title at 215 pounds, getting a 6-2 decision over Pinkerton Academy’s Anthony Caruso in the finals. Boudreau was seeded third while Caruso was the top seed.

On his way to the title, Boudreau decisioned Manchester Memorial’s Patrick Vachon 5-3 in the quarters and John Stark’s Lukas Boulanger in the semis, 6-2. Remember, Boudreau had already won the Division II crown at 215 last weekend.

Boudreau wasn’t the only Alvirne state champ as Morgan Gora also captured a girls title at 120.

Campbell’s Logan Allaire entered as the top seed at 165 but after two wins, one over Connor Steed of Alvirne, he bowed in the finals to Windham’s Constantine Issac by fall in 1:12.

Hollis Brookline’s Caden Bruseo was second at 132, falling to Pinkerton’s Camden Arbogast by a tight 4-3 decision in the finals after picking up wins in the quarters and semis.

Fellow Cavalier John McCole finished third at 285, falling to Keene’s Evan Ray in the semis but besting BG’s Bishop Kearns in the consolation round by a 6-4 decision.

Bishop Guertin also grabbed a pair of thirds – Austin Steinruck at 106 and Jack Kaler at 120.

Nashua South’s Robert Perez took third at 150, thanks to a consolation round 11-5 decision win over Goffstown’s Riley Allan. Another highly touted Nashua wrestler, Steven Rosario, took third at 165, winning a consolation round over Bow’s Ben McDowell.

Souhegan’s Christian Knuckles took third at 144 while Ben Smiley was fourth at 120.

GIRLS TITLES

Gora pinned Lebanon’s Abigail Stone at 3:41. Souhegan grabbed two champions: Maddie Brown at 114 and Isabelle Brandt at 145. Brandt pinned Alvirne’s Jillian Boncore at 5:53, while Brown bested Ava Anderson of Winnisquam in 2:37.

Merrimack’s Emily Angelo captured the title at 132, beating Mascoma Valley’s Gianini 10-1. Her Tomahawk teammete Avary Berardinelli was runnerup to Winnacunnet’s Satori Swanson at 126.

The MOC capped off a busy day around the area that included boys and girls hockey, plus bowling. Here are the details:
