They will gather one more time in the name of high school wrestling as far as NHIAA competion goes on Saturday.

And the lone wrestler for one school may have the best shot at a state championship in the Meet of Champions set at Bedford High School.

Step right up, Campbell’s Logan Allaire. He is the area’s lone top seed at 165 after winning the Division III title in that weight class.

As for other high seeds, Bishop Guertin’s Jack Kaler is seeded third at 120 and Hollis Brookline’s Caleb Bruseo is second at 132, Fellow Cavalier Aiden Smith-Nightengale is fourth at 113.

Nashua North’s Steven Rosario is third at 165, while Milford’s Kyle Lajoie is seeded third at 138 as is Evan O’Connell at 144

Souhegan’s Chase Knuckles is fourth at 138 while Alvirne Logan Jacques is fourth at 157 and Cameron Steed fourth at 165. Steed’s reward is he goes right to the quarterfinals to face Allaire.

The Cardinals had an area high 11 wrestlers qualify, but only nine are competing. That list unfortunately doesn’t include state champ Will Murphy at 175.

The girls will have their individual state championships for the second straight year as well.
