You’ve heard of freaky Fridays, but how about Streaky Wednesday?

It was a day of streaks in the local high school sports world. The Cavaliers from Hollis Brookline won their seventh straight field hockey game. The Campbell Cougars boys soccer team also is working on a long streak. The Nashua North field hockey team, on the flip side, is winless in 10 games, but the Titans were still competitive yesterday.

Here’s your Wednesday rundown:

FIELD HOCKEY

HOLLIS-BROOKLINE 1, KINGSWOOD 0

Emily Tebbetts, converted a pass from Nyah Jernberg for the game’s lone goal. Hollis-Brookline (7-2) goalie Rae Kline needed just two saves to get the shutout.

HB is right back at it today vs. ConVal today at 4 p.m.

BEDFORD 5, NASHUA SOUTH 1

The Panthers fell to 4-8 as Erin Flaherty scored South’s only goal off an assist from Saige Devins. However, Panther goalie Xiadani DeLaLima accounted for ten saves against the relentless Bulldog (6-3) offense.

Nashua South looks to get back in the win column Friday evening in a road matchup against 1-8 Merrimack.

KEENE 3, NASHUA NORTH 0

The Titans fell to 0-10 as they gave up two first quarter goals but then held Keene to one score the rest of the way getting another super effort from goaltender Abigail O’Malley.
