WLC girls hoop team falls to Epping in varsity return
The good news is the Wilton-Lyndeborough High School girls basketball team returned to varsity action after a four-year hiatus on Friday night.
The bad news is they couldn’t pull out the win, falling 41-25 at Epping in the season opener for both.
WLC got of to a slow start and trailed 25-10 at the half.
“We started slow but after halftime our defense tightened up and our ofense started to look better,” Warriors coach Tom Crowley said.
Maddy Labrecque led the Warriors with 10 points. WLC is at Mascenic on Tuesday.
