TELEGRAPH ALL-STARS: Alvirne’s Graham was a tall order
These last two weeks The Telegraph has honored the top local high school athletes of the Winter Sports Season with our All-Star series. Today is the final installmen, Boys Basketball.
We’d like to thank the coaches, athletic directors, athletes and their families who helped with their participation in providing player nominations, statistics, photos, etc. and look forward to a similar All-Star series following the current high school spring season.
2022 TELEGRAPH ALL-AREA BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM
2021-22 BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
BRENDAN GRAHAM, ALVIRNE
The 6-foot-8 senior center nearly got the Broncos into the tournament on his own, falling just short, as he averaged 20.3 points per game, 16.2 rebounds per game, 5.4 blocks per game, 3.3 steals, and had a 62.8 field goal percentage. He was a Second Team All-Stater and also All-State Defensive Team player. Alas, Graham’s organized basketball days are over as he has been recruited to UNH to play football in the fall.
