This week The Telegraph will be wrapping up its series honoring the top local high school athletes from the 2021-22 winter season that ended last month.

Today: Girls Hockey.

2021-22 GIRLS HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE YEAR

JULIE MCLAUGHLIN, FORWARD, BISHOP GUERTIN

McLaughlin was the leader of the Cardinals, who nearly made it back to the finals thanks in part to her 38 goals and 26 assists during the regular season and four goals and three assists in two playoff games for a total of 42-29=71 points. The senior was considered a huge leader both on and off the ice.
