New Hampshire high school wrestling has another big day coming up.

While the Division championships were certainly eventful last weekend, the NHIAA Meet of Champions will take place on Saturday at Londonderry High School beginning at 9:30 a.m., and there will be locals aplenty.

It’s step number two for Nashua South’s Anthony Fernandez, whose goal is a New England title. Fernandez is the Division I state champion at 132 pounds, and he’d be looking to take the overall state crown Saturday.

“I will be ready,” Fernandez told The Telegraph last week as he’ll be joined by eight Panther teammates, the largest Panther contingent in head coach Adam Langlois’ tenure at South. Ryan Salemi (113), Damien Perez (152), and Colby Vancelette (220) will be tough competitors to go with Connor Comeau (195), Jimmy Brown (285), Kyle Vancelette (138), Connor Whitman (145) and Andrew Lovell (6th)

Nashua North will be paced by Matt Oliver (106) and Toby Brown (220), to be joined by Finn Mullaly (152) and Jessy Allen (285)

Hollis Brookline had five state divisional champions last weekend, and look for Caden Bruseo (113 pounds), Hunter Crea (132), Jason Dejoie (138), R.J. McAdams (145) and Troy Moscatelli (152) will certainly be contenders for overall state titles.

Bishop Guertin has William Murphy (145), Matt Ha (170), Charlie Bellavance (195) to lead a strong contingent that also among others will include James Murphy (182), Zach Connerty (220) and Rocco Geraci (285)

Merrimack’s got Evan Torres at 120 as well as Anthony Almonte (113) and Mitchell Krupp (138) and Adam Cummings (145).

For Milford, two division champs, Ben Kilgore and Danny DeBernardo will be tough. Greg Gagnon (195) and Kyle Lajoie (120) will be, as well.

Campbell will have Divison III champion Logan Allaire at 138; they also have Chris Corbett (second last week at 132).

Souhegan will be led by Logan Brown at 126, plus Noah Dennis (132), and Christian Knuckles (152). Alvirne, meanwhile, has the likes of Jacob Kulick at 126, Logan Jacques at 138 and Grant Dickieson at 160.
