South second

Nashua South finished second in a four-team match Wednesday.

Joe Lizzie topped the Panthers with a 38 as South combined for a 217, 13 strokes behind first-place Hanover. Manchester Memorial was third at 236, despite medalist Sean McCaffrey’s 34, and Manchester Central shot a 238.

Other South scores includes Stephen Robbe, 39; Robby Lizzie, 42; Josh Gao, 49; Emma Kobs, 49; Mihir Bhalla 51, Ryan Arnesen, 54; and Beau Dubois, 57.

Bishop Guertin, Merrimack trail Bedford, Pinkerton

The Bishop Guertin golf team was third and Merrimack fourth Wednesday against first-place Bedford and second-place Pinkerton at Hoodkroft Country Club in Derry.

Bedford topped the field at 189 with Pinkrton second at 199. BG shot a 229 and Merrimack came in at 255.

Bedford’s Elliot Wallace was medalist with a 36.

Connor Bouvier and Colby Rathbone each shot a 44. Dean Liakos came in at 45, Trent Rider at 47 and Max Riordan at 49.

For Merrimack, Connor Patch shot a 43. Matthew Licata came in at 45, Jackson Woods at 51 and Noah Bedard at 54.
