NASHUA – Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse coach Chris Cameron said recently that he considered senior long stick midfielder John Sullivan an elite defender.

Evidently the rest of the Division I coaches felt the same way. Sullivan has been named the Division I All-State Boys Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year by the NHBLCA.

Sullivan was one of several Cardinals – and locals overall – on the Divison I All-State team, which was divided up into a First and Second Team. Guertin alone had nine on the First Team.

Exeter’s Spencer Clark was Offensive Player of the Year and Bedford’s Matthew Johansmeyer Coach of the Year. Pinkerton’s Bryon Murphy was Assistant Coach of the Year.
