The good news: Milford, Campbell reach softball finals

The local high school tourney news wasn’t all bad on Wednesday.
Two softball teams, Milford and Campbell, won their semifinals and will be playing for the Division II and III championships, respectively, on Saturday.
Milford blanked John Stark and will now take on Oyster River on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Rivier University. Campbell, meanwhile, topped Belmont and will now take on Hopkinton at Concord’s Memorial Field Saturday at 2 p.m.
It’s a rematch of the 2019 title game, in which the Hawks beat the Cougars 2-0. Campbell’s last softball title came in 2015.
