It was a quiet Thursday on the high school schedule thanks to the day-long rain on Thursday.

The Bishop Guertin-Nashua South doubleheader rematch at Stellos Stadioum was postponed, with the makeup date to still be announced. The BG-South boys tennis was also postponed to Monday.

But Guertin did have a boys volleyball match and the Souhegan boys lacrosse team lost a heartbreaker to Bedford in overtime:

Guertin’s Erik Wizboski had four aces, four kills and 15 assists while

DJ Omogrosso had seven kills and two blocks for the Cards, who host Goffstown on Monday.

The Sabers suffered a tough loss in the rain at Bulldog Stadium in Bedford to fall to 1-5. It was an improvement, however, over the 15-5 loss the Sabers suffered at the hands of the Bulldogs (7-1 earlier in the week.
