HOLLIS — The season is up and running, and the Cavaliers took full advantage on Opening Night.

The Hollis Brookline High School wrestling team opened up the pandemic-shortened 2021 season with a 54-24 win over visiting Alvirne on Wednesday night.

Winning by pin for HB were Hunter Crea (126), Ryan Mercier (152), and Hunter Hudzik (170). Jack Duval (132), Troy Moscatelli (138), RJ McAdams (145), Teddy Moscatelli (160), Henry Burns (220), and Ethan Strauss (285) all picked up forfeit wins.

Winners for Alvirne included Morgan Gora (113), Jacob Kulick (120), Kyle Gora (170), and Hunter Linke (195).

HB will next travel to Pelham next Wednesday while Alvirne next hosts Merrimack on Jan. 23.
