Nashua North, Souhegan win Division I, II football titles

The Greater Nashua area has a pair of high school football champions.
Nashua North ran by Goffstown, 49-21 on Saturday afternoon at Bedford’s Bulldog Stadium to win the Division I crowns.
At the same time, in Amherst, Souhegan High School captured the Division II championship. rallying for a 26-21 win over Plymouth.
North was led by Curtis Harris-Lopez, who scored three TDs, and the Titans also got two scores each from Jayden Espinal and Isaac Smith. North scored on offense, defense, and special teams.
Souhegan, meanwhile, led 20-14 after three quarters but trailed 21-20 with just under six minutes to play before back Riley Lawhorn ripped off a 70-yard touchdown run with 4:01 to play to provide the win — and the championship.
