Telegraph photo by TOM KING Bryce Zimmerman, shown lining up a putt this summer, was the medalist in a tri-match in Concord in Nashua North's season opener.

Bryce Zimmerman had a great start to his NHIAA golf season on Friday, taking medalist honors with a 32 at Concord Country Club.

But it still wasn’t enough as his Nashua High School North team finished third in a tri match with Exeter and Concord. The Blue Hawks won by a stroke at 194, edging the Tide (195) while the Titans were third at 198 in their season opener.

It was the first competitive high school athletic event for a Nashua team since early last March.

Eva Gonzales had a 36 for North, while Chris McQuinn came in at 42 and Spencer Champagne at 43 for North.

Will Ducharme led Exeter with a 36 while Sam Hopkins had a 36 as well for Concord.
