NASHUA – Bishop Guertin High School is naming St. Thomas Aquinas of Dover athletic director Ryan Brown as its new AD, sources at the school say.

An official announcement is expected to be sent out to the Guertin community of faculty, students and parents sometime today. Brown succeeds Guertin alum Peter Paladino, who has been in the position since 2011 and is now taking a new role as the school’s Director of Alumni Affairs, Annual Fund and facilities.

Brown, 41, has been the AD at St. Thomas the last eight years, and beat out a field of an incredible high number of over 175 applicants.

Brown was also the football coach at St. Thomas for two seasons, and also coached sub-varsity hockey and baseball teams there at one time or another. He is not expected to be coaching at BG.
