Reminder: Nashua stadiums closed for senior recognition
NASHUA – The Nashua Athletic Department has issued a reminder concerning the “Light Up The Night For The Class of 2020” that is taking place next Wednesday:
Do not try to get into either Stellos or Holman Stadium.
Lights are scheduled to be turned on next Wednesday, May 6 at 8:20 p.m. for 20 minutes at both Stellos Stadium and Holman Stadium to honor the senior classes at both Nashua High School North and South – not just student athletes.
However, the athletic department is reminding people that neither facility will be open. They will be closed to the public, locked with only a city attendant there to turn the lights on.
“For clarification as we have received many questions, this is NOT an event to attend,” said a statement issued on the Nashua Athletics twitter feed. “Neither facility will be open.
“The lights will be on at both stadiums as a symbol to recognize all seniors to congratulate them and to wish them well in their endeavors after high school.”
