Several local high school hockey players were named to the New Hampshire High School Coaches Association’s All-State Boys and Girls Hockey team.

A couple were named to their respective Division first teams.

In girls hockey, Bishop Guertin defenseman Lindsay Hult and Souhegan defenseman Clare Woodford were named to the First Team. Sabers senior goale Elle Byram was on the Second Team.

In Division II boys, Merrimack senior forward Zach Stimeling was a First Teamer while senior defenseman Andrew Frothingham was a Second Teamer, as was Tomahawks junior goalie Ben Hardy.

In Division I boys, Bishop Guertin junior defenseman Mike Schaaf and senior forward Patrick Madden were named to the Second Team. Senior goalie Evan Butler was an Honorable Mention.

Incredibly enough, no Hollis Brookline-Derryfield players were named to the All-State team. The Warriors had a stellar regular season, going 13-4-1 and were the tournament’s third seed.
