Cavaliers keeps streak going; WLC bows out of tourney

In a battle of Division II contenders, the visiting Cavaliers got 16 points each from Grant Snyder and Max Stapelfeld.to improve to 14-3 with their 12th straight win.

Snyder held Lebanon’s leading scorer Jon Willeman to two points in the first half, and 13 overall. However, the Cavs fouled Willeman in the act of shooting a potential game-tying 3 pointer in the final seconds. However, Willeman missed the second after making the first, then intentionally missed the third to try for the rebound. However, the Cavs retained control and Snyder hit a free throw to close it out.

HB visits Milford on Thursday. Lebanon fell to 14-3.

The Warriors were no match for the second-ranked Mules, who got 26 points and eight rebounds from Will Chase and 20 points and nine boards from Owen Tower. WLC winds up its season at 6-13.
