Nashua South boys hoop picks up 10th win

Nashua South 55,

Spaulding 42

Ivan Nyentenji and Andres Hulfachor collected 18 and 14 points apiece in the Panthers’ win. South, 10-6, visits Manchester Memorial on March 3.

Alvirne 59,

Pinkerton 50

The Broncos, move above .500 (8-7), with a big road win against the Astros. Jack Dewitt had a game high 26 points and Meshack Mugariri added 16. Alvirne will host Porstmouth on Friday.

Bishop Guertin 55,

Winnacunnet 37

Dylan Santosousso put up 19 points to lead the 14-2 Cardinals to their seventh win in a row. Jordan Robichaud added 16 points. BG is at Exeter on Friday.

Hollis Brookline 52,

Laconia 49

The Cavaliers (12-3) survived at the end of the contest to capture their 10th straight win on senior night. HB led by 13 after the first quarter. Grant Snyder was dominant offensively tallying 33 points. HB visits Bishop Brady on Thursday.

Lebanon 59,

Milford 48

Lebanon’s defense slowed the Spartans pace and sealed the game at the end. Jake Greska and Gavin Urda each had 13 points. Joey Shepard collected 12 points and 10 rebounds. Milford, 8-8, visits Pembroke on Friday.

Girls basketball

Merrimack 48,

Salem 40

Theresa Twardosky’s 21 point outburst helped the Tomahawks surpass the Blue Devils. Samantha Page and Makenna Desfossed each added seven points, while Riley Crampton and Heather Rohr led the way on defense. Merrimack finishes the regular season at 16-2.

Bishop Brady 91

Souhegan 65

The Sabers (4-12) dropped their third straight game with a home loss Tuesday night.

Souhegan had good games from Katie Canavan (14 points, career high), Susie Wason (14 points), Halle VanBallegooyen (13 points) and Hunter Stonebraker (nine points).

Souhegan visits Kearsarge on Wednesday.
