Tough night for Nashua South girls, Merrimack boys
Bad weather wiped out most of Tuesday night’s high school schedule, but here’s a look at two games that were played:
GIRLS BASKETBAL

NASHUA SOUTH 26
The host Panthers fell to 7-9, failing to get a scorer in double figures. Catherine Covert led the way with nine points followed by Aryanna Murray with seven.
South hosts Windham on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
BOYS BASKETBALL
MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 45,
MERRIMACK 41
The injury-riddled Tomahawks managed just three points in the final quarter in Manchester to fall to 8-5.
Adam Ellis led Merrimack, which was without top player Jared Dyer (ankle), with 13 points. Dyer is expected back next week.
Merrimack, after three straight losses, looks to get back on track Friday at home vs. Pinkerton.
