Wimmer hits 2,000 yards passing; Cavaliers bury Saint Thomas
The Hollis Brookline football team put the finishing touches on a dominant regular season, drilling Saint Thomas, 56-14.
Sander Wimmer capped off his third straight monster season, hitting 16 of 20 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
Wimmer, who also ran for a TD, now has 2,152 yards passing on the year with 22 TD passes.
Quinten Wimmer caught six balls for 108 yards and added a 98-yard interception return for a TD, all in the first half.
One of four 7-2 teams in Division II, the Cavaliers have hopes for a home playoff game in the quarterfinals next week.

Bow finished off a 9-0 regular season, rallying past the Sabers, who at 5-4 own the eighth seed in the upcoming playoffs and will be headed right back up I-93 to face the Falcons in the quarters next week.
Steve Guerrette scored five touchdowns in the win for Bow.
Souhegan, which led 17-14 at halftime, had Riley Lawhorn run for a touchdown and kick a 23-yard field goal. Jake Civiello caught an Austin Jain TD pass.
