Titans roll past Keene, 49-6, to stay unbeaten
Keene High School’s Alumni Field is always a tough place to play, but the Nashua North football team made competing there look somewhat easy in a 49-6 rout of the winless Blackbirds Saturday.
But, as what often happens with road games, it’s getting into gear that is usually the main issue for a heavy favorite like North.
“We were a little flat to start,” Titans coach Dante Laurendi said, his team now 7-0.
But then Curtis Harris, as has often been the case, got things going with a long touchdown run and that was that.
Harris had three rushing touchdowns. Other North rushing scores came from Anthony Greene, Brian Mwangi, Jayden Espinal, and Derek Finlay.
Keene fell to 0-7. North returns home Friday night to Stellos Stadium to play a huge West Conference game against 5-2 local rival Merrimack.
