Area Roundup: North boys smother Dover

Emmanuel Orozco tallied two goals in the Panthers (10-3-1) home victory.

Max Lopez added one goal, while Daniel Miranda played solidly on defense.

South travels to Exeter on Tuesday.

Milford 2,

John Stark 1 (2OT)

Connor Sullivan scored the game winner in double overtime off an assist from Alex Wheelock.

Paxton Ducharme scored the first goal of the game, with Ryon Constable adding the assist.

Milford sits at 8-3-3 and visit ConVal on Tuesday.

Merrimack 3,

Nashua North 1

Johnathan Paulhamus, Sawyer Hardy (assist) and Connor Lanigan found the back of the net as the Tomahawks (8-6) down the Titans (7-6-1).

Jack Goodwin was the leader on defense recording 11 saves in goal.

Merrimack hosts Londonderry on Tuesday and North visits Hanover.

Campbell 2,

St. Thomas 0

The Cougars improve to 12-0-2 after their shutout win on Friday. David Latska and Sam Gomes scored one goal apiece.

Campbell welcomes Conant on Tuesday.

Littleton 4,

Wilton-Lyndeborough 1

The Warriors (11-3) went down for the first time in four games on Friday night. Kenny Begley scored the lone WLC goal in the last three minutes of the contest.

Also, playing well were Dylan Pfeil, Troy Brennan and Dominic Hutchinson. WLC hosts Sunapee on

Monday.

Girls soccer

Milford 10,

Manchester West 0

The Spartans (10-3-1) roll to a decisive road win. Aspen Tlapa, Syd Thibault, Emmy Sullivan and Kate Hansen led the way for the locals. Milford hosts Pembroke on Tuesday.

Nashua South 4,

Dover 3

Mailie McDermott scored four goals to lead the Panthers (11-3) to their seventh straight win.

Haleigh Swabowicz made 12 saves in goal. South hosts Exeter on Tuesday.

Field hockey

Concord 4,

Nashua South 0

The Panthers lose in their final game of the season. Courtney Tello was phenomenal racking up 24 saves including her 200th of the

season.

Sarah Signorello, Maddie Sewade, Maddie Rowe, Sarah Picard and Kirsten McIntire played well in the loss.

South ends its season at 2-12.

Girls volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, Pinkerton 1

The Cavaliers (16-0) run continues as they defeat the Astros 25-15, 20-25, 25-19,

25-16.

Kaleigh Whalen and Maren Anderson were terrific on offense tallying 16 kills each. Sammie

Sheppard led the defense with 33 digs, Sophie Jordan tossed 30 assists and Hanna Close added nine kills.

Hollis Brookline will hold its senior night on Wednesday as they welcome Nashua North.

Bishop Guertin 3,

Londonderry 1

The Cardinals (8-8) win by the scores of 25-16, 18-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Emma Charron was all over the floor collecting 22 digs. Kristen Coumas had 22 assists and Libby Knapp (five aces, 12 digs) downed 10 kills to lead the offense.

Maddy Keating (four aces, seven kills, 15 digs) and Meghan Stack (seven kills) contributed in the win. Guertin hosts Goffstown on Wednesday.

Nashua North 3,

Merrimack 0

The Titans (8-8) take down the Tomahawks (2-14) 25-19, 25-14, 25-12.

Meg Valcourt tossed 27 assists to help out with Kelsey Laliberte’s 10 kills and Olivia Mazerolle’s six kills.

Jamie Parker gathered 12 digs.

North visits undefeated Hollis Brookline on Wednesday and Merrimack hosts Londonderry.

Campbell 3,

Fall Mountain 0

The Cougars (8-5) sweep Fall Mountain 25-12, 25-5, 25-17. Jordan Kanaley led the team with 11 assists, seven aces and two digs.

Mallory Reczko and Catherine Carignan had four kills apiece for the locals.

Campbell visits Trinity on Monday.
