High School Highlights: Nashua South boys soccer now 9-3-1

Nashua South 5,

Salem 1

Emmanuel Orozco scored a hat trick in the Panthers (9-3-1) one sided win. Ananth Rangan netted two goals. South hosts Dover on Friday.

Souhegan 4,

Merrimack Valley 2

The Sabers (2-9) end their three game losing drought by winning on their home field. Mike Estabrook was unstoppable on the offensive end scoring four goals. Ethan Lim played with his head up and collected three assists. Souhegan travels to Hollis Brookline on Saturday.

Concord 4,

Alvirne 1

The Broncos (4-9) record their ninth straight loss. Nate Day tallied the lone goal for the locals. Alvirne hosts Portsmouth on Thursday.

Campbell 2,

Mascenic 0

Seniors Michael Cosco and David Laska tallied one goal each for the Cougars (11-0-2). Campbell visits St. Thomas on Friday.

Merrimack 5,

Pinkerton 1

Johnathan Paulhamus’ two goals propel the Tomahawks (7-6) over the Astros. Sawyer Hardy, Josh Barnard and Carson Papp (two assists) each found the back of the net once. Goalie Jack Goodwin made seven saves. Merrimack visits Nashua North on Friday.

Girls soccer

Nashua South 3,

Salem 2 (2OT)

Mailie McDermott found the back of the net three times, including the game winner for the Panthers (10-3). Hailie Swabowicz made seven saves in goal. The Panthers have won their last six games. South travels to Dover on Friday.

Concord 3,

Alvirne 0

The Broncos got shutout at home and fall to 6-7. Lyla Davis, Kelly Perry and Ashley Lecomte played well on defense despite the loss. Alvirne visits Portsmouth on Friday.

Pinkerton 5,

Merrimack 2

The Tomahawks drop to 5-8 after a road loss to the Astros. Samantha Page scored two goals with Abby Morgan contributing an assist. Merrimack hosts Nashua North on Thursday.

Hollis Brookline 4,

Coe-Brown 1

The Cavaliers (10-1-1) pick up a commanding home win on Tuesday. Renee LeBlanc led the offense with two goals, while Tasha White and Paisley Broadhurst scored one goal each. Paige Magnuszewski and Nicole Heiter had one assist apiece. Hollis Brookline hosts Pembroke on Thursday.

Milford 3,

Plymouth 0

Rachel Gizzonio opened the scoring for the Spartans (9-3-1) in Tuesdays win. Kylie Freel and Brooke Gizzonio added on goal apiece, with Marissa Sage getting an assist. Milford visits Manchester West on Friday.

Campbell 3, Laconia 0

The Cougars (11-2) outpace Laconia in a shutout win. Morgan Wagner, Lydia Payne and Brooke Stoncius had one goal each. Campbel lhosts Fall Mountain on Friday.
