Jacob Pacheco
Bishop Guertin, Junior, Pole Vault/Javelin
As good as he was mowing through the regular season, the Cardinals’ two-event standout raised his game when it mattered in June. Pacheco won the javelin at the Division I State Meet with a 150-2 toss, then rose up with a monster 171-6 effort to win the Meet of Champions. In the pole vault, the junior was second in the D-I meet and third in the MOC, each time clearing the bar at 12-6.
