Milford Falls in Overtime
Milford let a two-goal lead at halftime slip away, ultimately losing to Con-Val in overtime, 13-12.
Con-Val rallied for three goals in the final three minutes to take a one-goal lead with less than a minute left. Harrison Urda tied the game for Milford with 14 seconds left, but the Spartans couldn’t capitalize in overtime.
Urda led Milford with three goals and two assists. Ross Briggs added two goals and three assists while Weston Pare finished with three scores. Evan Wandrey, Max Urda and Tyler Duball also had goals in the loss.
Travis Hughes saved 11 shots in his first varisty start.
