FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Lamar Jackson said while the Miami Dolphins were making their comeback against the Baltimore defense last week, the offense stayed flat.

That wasn’t going to happen again, he said, after Sunday’s 37-26 win over the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

“I feel like we build more off adversity, and we play better off adversity,” he said. “This game, we were going to respond back as well, because they were doing a great job on their offense, and we felt like we had to do the same thing.”

Jackson was tough to stop, rushing for a game-high 107 yards and throwing for 218 and four TDs.

“Getting my guys the ball,” he said, “because I feel like I’ve got 100 percent comfort in my guys that whey’re going to make that play, just give them a chance, and that’s all we talk about, giving them a chance.”

No one on the Patriots knows Jackson better than his former Baltimore teammate linebacker Matt Judon, whom the Patriots signed as a free agent two years ago.

“I mean, we all see it, how shifty he is,” Judon said of Jackson. “The dipping and ducking, we all see it, and you respect a guy like that. He’s just slippery. When you get there, you’ve got to get him down.”

BIG GAME FOR WISE

Patriots lineman Deitrich Wise, Jr. had three sacks early, and as Judon said, Wise “did a helluva job at that.”

“Honestly, I want to give thanks to all my guys in the back end,” Wise said. “They were able to hold their guy, defend their guy. A lot of pressure was in on Judon. I want to say it was Judon and (Christian) Barmore. …

“The guys in the back end who were covering the guys and did marvelous job in the back end which allowed us to get to the rush. I just happened to get there a few more times.”

WILFORK HONORED AT HALFTIME

The newest member of the Patriots Hall of Fame, Vince Wilfork, addressed the crowd at halftime along with Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

“A lot of great player contributed to those six Super Bowls (championships), but only two won Super Bowls in each of those years – Tom Brady and Vince Wilfork,” Kraft said. “Back in 2014 draft, we were tracking a (Miami) Hurricane, and ended up with a force to be reckoned with….who wrecked havoc in the trenches for the next 11 years. … Vince gave the Patriot fans many memorable moments.”

“It has been my pleasure to spend 11 great years right here with all of you, ” said Wilfork, inducted Saturday. “The moments I will always cherish…We all did it together.”

I will leave my guts on this field for all you guys.”

PATRIOTS WITHOUT MEYERS

Receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee) and safety Kyle Dugger (knee) headed the Patriots inactive list yesterday. Also inactive were corner Shaun Wade, linebacker Raekwon McMillan, defensive lineman Sam Roberts and third QB Bailey Zappe.

Inactive for the Ravens: wide receiver James Proche II, running back Kenyan Drake, corner Daryl Worley, tackle Ronnie Stanley and defensive end Brent Urban.

GUY OUT, ETC.

Mac Jones wasn’t the other big Patriots injury. They also lost defensive lineman Lawrence Guy with a shoulder injury in the third quarter…

Pats placekicker Nick Folk set an NFL record for the most consecutive field goals – 37 – made under 50 yards when he booted a 35-yarder early on…

Believe it or not, Jones has a completion percentage of 67.3, tied with Chad Pennington for the hightest completion percentage by a quarterback in hs first 20 career starts…

Judon became the second Patriots player to record a sack in the first three games of the season…
