Whenever I hear someone say they hate our President I ask them why and they say, “he lies”. They spew the same-old obsessive mantra that they hear from their preferred liberal “news” sources like CNN, MSNBC and the three main television networks, that Trump lies. Really? The old adage that if you hear something said enough times you begin to believe it, fits right into the narrative for the liberal news networks. I get a kick out of people who complain about the ‘bias’ at FOX News. When it is pointed out that FOX is but ONE conservative-leaning network against the bias of a dozen liberal-leaning networks, liberals still can’t come to grips in their emotional furor over Trump. The overwhelming odds of fake-news organizations infiltrating into the minds of uninformed voters is pernicious.

So, onto the “lies”. Take the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic. Liberal leaders in the U.S. House and Senate screamed bloody murder with their unsubstantiated claims that Trump ‘s handling of the virus was poor. They take delight in spreading misinformation. Here’s the reality: Trump immediately banned travel from China. He shut down and ordered more security at our country’s borders, all in the face of screaming Democrats. Trump ordered two hospital ships readied in one week, when it would have taken bureaucrats months to do. Trump ordered temporary hospitals built – in three days. Trump ordered several major manufacturing industries to restructure to build ventilators and PPE’s.

These are but a few of the COVID-19 policies Trump enacted immediately and yet liberals keep harping that he should have reacted sooner. How soon? Before China even admitted their diabolical part in releasing COVID-19 to the world? Like most of us, since our president is not a scientist himself, he assembled a team of experts and relied on those experts to inform the public. The problem was, the experts didn’t know anything about this virus themselves. And, they still don’t know. Trump asked questions. He was excoriated for asking them. When he offered hope that the virus will end, they mocked him and called him a liar. Hello? Which would you rather have, a president who is a positive thinker or one who will give the doom-and-gloom changing world perspective? Damned if you do. Damned if you don’t.

There is more than COVID-19 to this President. His accomplishments in the almost 4 years he has been in office are too many to list here, but they cannot – nor should not – be ignored. Our economy is the best it had been in more than 50 years (pre-pandemic aside). The Stock Market has reached all-time highs. More than 2 million jobs have been created. Unemployment rates (prior to the pandemic) were at 17-year lows and, as more people are going back to work, we shall once again see the same lows. Obama-era regulations were gutted. The war on coal was ended. Illegal immigration numbers were reduced. Construction began on the Border Wall. ISIS lost virtually all of its territory. Jerusalem was named as the capital of Israel. The Tax Reform Bill was passed. A task force to reduce crime was created. Food Stamp use is lowest level in more than 7 years. An Executive Order was signed to protect police officers. An Executive Order was signed to target drug cartels. The White House payroll was reduced. The list goes on. And on. President Trump has proven time and again that his accomplishments during his first term far exceed that of his predecessors up to Ronald Reagan.

Our President is not a slick politician using fancy “political” phrases. So what? He doesn’t mince words; he is brutally straight forward, telling it like it is, and that is what appeals to the average American voter. He is someone they can relate to who doesn’t talk down to them. He is a brilliant counter-puncher sometimes playing mind games with the puerile liberal DC swamp crawlers who appear to be as unhinged as a screen door in a tornado. He is a pragmatic lion who cannot be bought. Never have I witnessed such obscene hatred for a man who works for free. He doesn’t take his presidential salary. The minute he walked into the Oval Office he promoted hiring and buying American. He is an American patriot. His policy is America First.

On the other hand, we have Joe Biden. Joe has lost the ability to articulate issues clearly and cogently, or to complete complex thoughts. He is clearly suffering from a mental decline. He forgets, mumbles, misspeaks, loses his train of thought and appears, at times, confused. His 40-plus years in government as a professional politician is showing its age. And yet, some Democrats will still cast a ballot for him. Democrats, who like to think of themselves as “bi-partisan” will always remain true to their partisan thinking.

Be careful what you wish for.

Donald Trump is my president and he has my vote.
