For more than 30 years, the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to serving the 11 towns of the Souhegan Valley by promoting regional business and community prosperity through advocacy, economic development, networking opportunities and business education. We also represent the business interest of members located in the surrounding towns of Nashua, Merrimack, Bedford, Manchester and beyond.

A benefit of Chamber membership is access to our frequently held Business Education Seminars. Community members also are invited to attend any of our educational seminars with payment of a non-member registration fee.

The mission of the Chamber’s educational committee is to ensure that our programming is engaging, interactive and focused on topics vital to business growth and tools for success. Presented by subject matter experts, our business education seminars provide timely information on emerging trends and arm our attendees with actionable best practices.

Recent topics presented by the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce included several which addressed “Legal issues that commonly arise in the running a business,” such as Asset protection and succession planning; protecting your business from fraud; and employment and human resources issues.

“Build your Business” topics are another area we strive to focus on for the benefit of our members, and have presented recent seminars in the areas of essential tools for business success; how to market your business using social media; best practices for emails; and more.

“Safety in Today’s Business Environment” is another important topic that the Chamber has chosen to present to its members. Local police officers with special training in this area have offered a series of Workforce Violence Response and Active Shooter Response seminars at the Chamber.

Coming up in May, we will be offering a comprehensive, hands-on Quickbooks course that will teach you all the nuts and bolts about accounting and bookkeeping. You will learn to navigate and use Quickbooks to help save you time, grow your business and make you more money. We are pleased to be partnering with certified Quickbooks Instructor Lee Davis of Lee Davis & Co. He then spent decades utilizing his accounting and business skills in the healthcare industry. For the past 10 years, his passion has been helping new business startups and young entrepreneurs with his business and accounting expertise.
