It appears that for some hardcore Donald Trump haters there is no letting go. Even during the Christmas Holiday Season. People like Rich DiPentima, former Democrat state representative from the liberal enclave of Portsmouth, NH (Sunday Telegraph, December 11, 2022).

Mr. DiPentima’s obsession on his hatred for President Trump sounds troubling and I’m concerned he seems unable to detach from reality.

While most of us have taken a break after the fiasco of politics since November 8, 2022, Mr. DiPentima is still fixated on President Trump, who, I might add, has not been in the White House for almost two years. And yet, hatred for President Trump seems to continually affect him deeply. In his LTE, he perpetuates the disinformation and lies fed to him by the fake news organizations like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

In his Truth Social post, Trump was responding to Big Tech and their Democratic National Committee cohorts who colluded to throw the 2020 election results in favor of Biden. Trump talked about how the massive fraud of this magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, “even those found in the Constitution” (and therein comes the misinterpretation). President Trump went on to talk about how our great Founders did not want, and would not condone, false and fraudulent elections.

For perspective, several former liberal news reporters have recently come forward to say that organizations like CNN and MSNBC force their journalists to overlook actual facts and details and demand they keep their message focused on the Democratic political narrative. Said organizations are known to thrive on “hot talk” that doesn’t qualify as news, but qualifies as ideological reinforcement. In other words: interpretation.

First of all, President Trump has no authority to “terminate” the U.S. Constitution but that doesn’t stop the liberal “news” organizations from forcing their opinionated and false narratives. Second, Trump in no way suggested he would terminate the Constitution. Again and again, his words are manipulated by the fake news. Simply because they fear him. They then pass on their Trump Derangement Syndrome opinions to their liberal devotees in the public who buy it hook, line, and sinker.

I could go on about Hunter Biden’s laptop, Jan. 6, and the continuing delusional misdeeds, lies and stupid gaffes by Joe Biden, but in the spirit of the Christmas Holiday Season, I’ll continue with my break from politics to enjoy this wondrous life. I need to have some eggnog to take away the bad taste in my mouth of anything coming out of the current White House.

In the meantime, I hope that Mr. DiPentima manages to lower his blood pressure. I hope he thinks about the wonders of the season and spreading good will to all men.

Maybe then he will find some peace in his life.
