Support Chandley for State Senate

By Elizabeth O’Hare - Merrimack | Sep 10, 2022

First and foremost, know that this upcoming election is key. I want to make sure the will of the majority and needs of the minority are heard. Shannon Chandley is responsive, respectful, and reasoned in her representation of State Senate District 11. With a history of thoughtful bipartisanship, Shannon Chandley is the leader best poised to address the challenges facing the New Hampshire in the upcoming term.

Last term, Gary Daniels co-sponsored bills (HB 568 and SB 314) to slash taxes at the state level shifting the burden for lost revenue again to suffering property owners. In contrast, Shannon believes in building a thriving economy to promote policies that attract young families and new business to New Hampshire.

Unlike Daniels, who cosponsored SB 130, “Education Freedom Grants” draining funds from New Hampshire public schools, Chandley believes there is a direct link between strong public schools, a thriving economy, and a vibrant democracy. Shannon Chandley opposes any attempt to use taxpayer funds for private and religious education.

Finally, Chandley stands firmly for women’s bodily autonomy in the face of the national and state erosions of those rights. In New Hampshire, Daniels voted to support New Hampshire’s first abortion ban without exception for rape, incest or maternal health. The NH ban threatens providers with hefty fines and felony conviction. Chandley opposes any government overreach into private healthcare.

I believe Shannon Chandley will be a responsible steward of my tax dollars while working to build a healthy state, an excellent public education system, and a growing economy. I encourage you to consider voting for Shannon Chandley for Senate District 11 if you live in Amherst, Merrimack, Milford, or Wilton.
