Gun legislation

By David F. Yeaton - Nashua | Jun 4, 2022

Recently, an 18 year old male was allowed, by our society, to purchase two AR-15 military-type assault guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition with which he massacred nineteen third and fourth graders and two teachers in the town of Uvalde, Texas. In the past decade many other U.S. residents have similarly been killed by gun shots.

This criminal action must stop. Certain Senate members refuse to approve or negotiate reasonable, common sense proposed federal legislation which would reduce such criminal actions.

I urge my fellow voters to diligently work to determine House and Senate candidate’s position on gun regulation reform. I further urge them not to vote for candidates that fail to support common sense gun reform. One good source of voter information is the candidate’s website, another source is campaign rallies. Voters, please take action!
