Kudos to Paul Collins for his excellent article Feb. 24, 2022: The day that the past came calling.

There’s a little more to the story. President Roosevelt was more of an isolationist, also. He didn’t want Americans involved in Hitler’s war. He even sent a ship of refugees that Cuba refused that came to the U.S. looking for asylum back to Europe where most of them died at the hands of the Nazi’s.

It wasn’t until we were bombed at Pearl Harbor that it was decided to enter the war. Again, too little too late to save as many people as possible that could have been saved from the holocaust. That doesn’t mean I want to be in another war, but it does mean that we are on the brink of catastrophe with an ” out of sight” dictator. I hope it’s not too late to prevent a third world war.
