I work as a bartender in downtown Nashua, and one of the best tools to combat drunk driving in our city is Uber. So, why would Sen. Maggie Hassan be pushing legislation that would end this? That is exactly what the PRO Act would do, and she is pushing it in every way possible. The PRO Act would crush new innovation in business and end independent contractors like Uber drivers. It makes no sense. People are able to work more on a flexible schedule and also serves a critical service in our city and society. Maggie Hassan needs to stop pushing the PRO Act. It would hurt Main Street business and make us less safe on the roads.
