Please support Amherst School District (PreK-8) teachers by voting yes on Article 15. This article approves the 4-year agreement between the Amherst School Board and the Amherst Education Association, and represents the end of months of negotiations. The result was a fair contract that allows the District to budget staffing in a predictable manner.

Under the agreement, teachers will receive a cost of living adjustment and contribute more to their health insurance in each year of the contract, while also extending the length of the school year to provide more student instructional time.

We believe this represents a fair agreement, and the Amherst School Board supports this article 5-0. On March 8th, please vote YES on Article 15.
