So much effort has been exerted over the past several decades in what I would call focused attempts to disown our American core values. Fortunately, the people and entities behind these attempts are small in size and numbers. In many cases, although holding high offices or positions of great influence, they are also losing their effectiveness to manipulate …

But what about the rest of us? What does it mean to be American? The way I see it, we each have a dire responsibility to know, understand, and live out our lives as Americans. We should never, under any circumstance, allow another person or entity to manipulate that answer.

As I examine my own life, I begin to realize I have spent far too much time believing lies. Allowing politicians, lawyers, professors, celebrities, news anchors, people of influence in our society, to tell me what it means to be American. As I think about the things going on in the world today, I also realize, it cannot be this way any longer. Not for me, not for any of us.

Thankfully, brave Americans, men and women from all over our nation are standing up to protect our foundation, our core values as a nation. As good as they are doing, they need all our help. The action of holding a line of defense only occurs after continuously being pushed back. At some point we must start moving forward again. The only way to do that, is by standing together on the foundation laid by the blood, sweat, and prayers of our founding fathers.

The United States of America was literally formed because of eerily similar events as we are living through today, and precisely for a time such as now. …
