Cash-back carbon pricing

By Katharine Gage - Windham | Jan 15, 2022

Cash-back carbon pricing legislation is a great way to reach net zero carbon emissions nationally by 2050 while putting money in citizens’ pockets. This is achieved by charging fossil fuel producers a fee, and rebating the money collected to American households on an equal, per capita basis.

Climate provisions, including carbon pricing, are under consideration as part of the Build Back Better reconciliation bill right now in the Senate Finance Committee, of which New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan is a member. Please take this opportunity to urge Sen. Hassan to advocate for cash-back carbon pricing, because it will be good for New Hampshire citizens and our climate, at http://cclusa.org/get-loud-take-action. Thank you.
