Sununu, the gerrymanderer

By Nancy Heath - Epsom | Sep 25, 2021

Gov. Chris Sununu told NHPR that “…(gerrymandering) just a bunch of political nonsense …” He vetoed two bi-partisan bills in 2019 and 2020 which would have created an independent redistricting commission. Either Sununu is ignorant or he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I have lived in Epsom 42 years. Epsom used to have its own State Representative. In 2003, Free Loader (Oops!, I meant to say Free Stater) Carol McGuire moved to Epsom then became a State Representative in 2008. Her number 1 priority was not to represent citizens of Epsom. Her number 1 priority was the Free Loader (Oops! I meant to say Free Stater) agenda.

The 2010 census redistricting map was drawn by the Republican majority in Concord. That redistricting map took Epsom’s Representative away replacing with districts which pretty much guarantee three Republicans and one Democratic Rep for Allenstown, Epsom and Pittsfield.

I do not think Governor Sununu is ignorant. Rather, he is very smart. Cunning. Sly. He also did not think choice and using public taxes to pay for vouchers was important enough to veto the budget.

Governor Chris Sununu is nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
