Giving thanks
The Memo Foundation wishes to thank everyone who came out on Saturday, August 21st, to support our first Art & Music Festival. It was great to see folks of all ages connecting with one another and enjoying food, music, strolling the vendor booths, and competing and learning tricks at the skate park. Judging from the comments, it was a big success, and we have some wonderful suggestions to consider, should we do this again.
We want to thank the town of Milford’s Chris Anton and Ricky Riendeau of the DPW, Arene Berry of Parks and Recreation, Chief Viola and Capt. Frye of the Milford Police Department, Chief Flaherty of the Milford Fire Department, David Freel of Freel and Son Electric, our own EMT for the day Maddie (grateful we didn’t need any medical attention).
Thank you to our area sponsors The Milford Lions, McLeod Orchards, John Hopkins of Monadnock Tent Rental, Balcom Bros., Inc., The Orchid’s Eye, Woodman’s Florist, NH WaterCare Corporation, Station 101, Eastern Boarder, Kent’s Towing, Zoe Lantaff and Wade Campbell of the Granite Town Festivities Committee. A special thank you to Eric Escobar, from Wicked Ways Tattoos, for the beautiful mural.
Thank you to all 22 vendors for your support and participation. Thank you to Cooper Leafe for providing the sound for our musicians/bands: Up Chuck Kreek, Stone Hill Station, Macy Rae, Phillip Gerekos, Dezent, One Fine Mess, and Kings of None.
Thank you to all the volunteers who pitched in and assisted in every aspect of planning and executing, set up, admission, merchandise sales, signage, runners, and clean up. Without you, this would have been an impossible task. We had a fantastic day all around. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Lauren Contarino for making sure Brandon’s big smile was shining down on all of us.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you.
