I felt compelled to write this letter after listening to a radio interview I heard with Senator Blanche Lincoln on WGIR the other day.

She was on the radio talking about the effort in Congress to raise the corporate tax rate in order to pay for the infrastructure bill that was recently passed. The Democrat Senator from Arkansas made several important points and I hope our members of Congress from NH were listening.

I’m grateful our Senators supported the infrastructure bill but this is not the time to raise taxes and stifle our country’s economic recovery. People are already struggling as a result of covid and are relying on these businesses for jobs and very often health insurance.

We all know it will be working families that will get stuck paying thousands in new taxes if Congress raises the corporate tax rate. Congress needs to find another way to pay for improving our countries infrastructure.
