Long way to go
This is not a new gas station. COSTCO is moving to another location and this is just replacing the old one.
About the EV station: Most electricity is generated from fossil fuels still. So your EV station would really be ANOTHER FOSSIL FUEL STATION!
Further, until electricity is generated from solar or wind, EV stations are truly inefficient. Electricity generation, for now, converts fuel to electricity, then the electricity is stored in batteries, then battery power is used to create the mechanical forces in the EV car for motion, heat and cooling.
The ICE, for now, converts the fuel directly to mechanical forces, heat and cooling. Also don’t forget coal is being used to create a large majority of solar panels and wind mills, then shipped via diesel burning ships to the U.S.
